Jewel Tones

Now that it's Monday again... I hope you had a great weekend! Ours was mostly low key and very nice. I wore this for Wear a Dress Wednesday for The Dress Dare... they are living out a dare to wear a dress every day for the entirety of 2013... yep, that means no sweatpants! I think that's pretty cool and probably really tough, but it's also inspiring! Anyway, in honor of their dare, I chose to wear one of my Lilly dresses... I also chose this because it is nice and light and it was in the 60s here :) I also love this rhinestone studded belt from Anthropologie that I just bought. The multitude of jewel tones will brighten up any outfit... or pull it together in my case here. I took hints from the reds, greens, and blues in the belt and added my own pieces in various shades to complement the rich colors.

I took some time to read the new People StyleWatch this weekend and I can't even tell you how much I'm loving everything for spring! Some items on my spring shopping list include: a wear everywhere trench, a floral blazer, block heels, a new wear everywhere dress (loving the fit and flare style right now), some silver/metallic accent pieces, and a bright crossbody bag.... and I could keep going! What is something you're loving for spring?
